Training and Development
Our commitment does not end once an individual is hired. We offer our employees training to help them grow, enhance their skills and stay current with changes that may have an impact on their careers. Some of our Training opportunities include:
- Forklift Operator Training – This course is designed to teach the technique of operating a forklift machine both skillfully and safely.
- Functional Cross-Training – Skyhawk functional cross training is mandatory training for all sites. We recognize that individuals become burnt out and bored when they are performing the same job over and over for an extended period of time. Our functional cross training allows our employees to be versed with other functional areas of not only their work site, but other work sites throughout the company, providing them with the skills and knowledge for career advancement.
- Conflict Management - This course is designed to allow participants to better understand strategies for managing conflict more effectively.
- Driver Safety Training Courses – These courses are designed to show drivers how to safely operate vehicles including pre-trip inspections, winter driving, and sharing the road with other drivers.
- Safety Training - These courses are designed to enhance employee’s awareness of workplace safety.
